This is the second step for ACCORDI[ON] STRING, the PIF project reserved to the students of italian Conservatories. ACCORDI[ON]STRING was created to promote composition and literature for accordion and string quartet and presents new opportunities for artistic enhancement of Conservatories. To participate the project, are composed some pieces for accordion and string quartet of maximum seven minutes; which students of the conservatory will play the first performance with Gigli String Quartet: Luca Mengoni and Stefano Corradetti (first violin), Vincenzo Pierluca (viola) e Federico Perpich (cello). The ACCORDI[ON] STRING 2016protagonists come from all over Italy. The Istituto Superiore di Studi Musicali “P. I. Tchaikovsky” from Nocera Terinese (CZ) line up the M° Marco Gemelli (accordion) and M° Livio Bollani (composition) students Francesco Fortunato, Mauro Salamone, Domenico Cafiero, Paolo Esposito and Pietro Pardino. One of two pieces was commissioned by conservatory to M° Cesare Chiacchiaretta. Francesco Melani ed Elena Champion attends the “Arrigo Boito” Conservatory in Parma and are students of M° Giorgio Dellarole (accordion) and Luca Tessadrelli(composition). Samuele Telari is the standard-bearer of “Santa Cecilia” Conservatory (Rome) teaching M° Massimiliano Pitocco. The piece was commissioned by conservatory to M° Massimo Munari. Entering new creative limph in the PIF is an highlight of the PIF2016. According to the programme, the performances of ACCORDI[ON]STRING will performed at the Mario Binci Auditorium (Hall L) in September 24th at 12.00 am.
